Arsenal U21s let slip three-goal lead to lose thrilling encounter

Aston Villa U21s came from 3-0 down to beat Arsenal U21s 5-3 in a thrilling encounter on Friday night.

The Gunners raced into a three-goal lead thanks to goals from Charlie Patino, Khayon Edwards and Omari Hutchinson. However, Villa hit back with goals from Louie Barry, Arjan Raikhy, Tymur Lysenko, Dean Campbell and an own goal from Anthony Brooks.

The result leaves Arsenal top of the Premier League 2 table, two points ahead of Manchester City. Villa are now up to fifth place, level on points with fourth-placed West Ham.
