The upcoming Disney+ series "The Acolyte" has officially announced its cast, including Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, and Rebecca Henderson. The series, helmed by Leslye Headland, will take viewers into the shadowy secrets of the High Republic era.
Amandla Stenberg will portray Osha, a young woman who embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind her tragic past. Lee Jung-jae will play a mysterious character named Ezra, while Rebecca Henderson will embody a charismatic leader within the High Republic Order.
The cast also includes Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, Joonas Suotamo, and Manny Jacinto, all taking on unspecified roles in this highly anticipated Star Wars adventure. Set hundreds of years before the events of "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace," "The Acolyte" promises to explore the origins of the dark side and the rise of the Sith.
