Firefox 129 Released With Tab Hover Preview Reader View Tweaks

Mozilla has released Firefox 129, the latest version of its popular desktop and mobile web browser. The new version includes a number of improvements, including an enhanced Text and Layout menu in Reader View, a new option to preview background tabs on hover, and a new tab preview function that appears when hovering over a tab.

Enhanced Reader View

Reader View is a feature in Firefox that strips away all the unnecessary clutter from a web page, leaving you with just the text and images. This can make it easier to read articles and blog posts, especially on small screens. In Firefox 129, the Reader View Text and Layout menu has been enhanced with new options for character spacing and word spacing. You can now also choose to display the text in a serif or sans-serif font.

The new tab preview function is a great way to get a quick look at the content of a tab without having to actually switch to it. To use this feature, simply hover your mouse over a tab and a small preview of the page will appear. This can be helpful for quickly finding the tab you want, especially if you have a lot of tabs open.

Overall, Firefox 129 is a solid update that includes a number of useful new features. If you're a Firefox user, be sure to download the latest version today.
